Carrie & Juan's 20th
As you all know Carrie & Juan celebrated thier 20th Anniversary in April. It turned out really nice. We all had a lot of fun. We actually had to much food, which is a good thing. Better to have more, than to not have enough. Anyway our thank's to Pat Dolgrun, our caterer, for the delicious pineapple chicken, the green beans and the rice pilaf. Also thanks to Aretha for the potato and macaroni salads, they were all great. We are running late on the thank you notes. We have been helping out Carries boss with her daughters graduation, so we are a little behind. Sorry. Anyway here are some pictures of the party.......Oh yeah another thing WOWEEEE am I fat, I'm blaming it on the blouse. You can better believe I will never wear that one again...ever!

About me....
First off I want to thank my very creative cousin Tami for sending me her blog link. After viewing it ( I do almost everyday) I told Joey about it . He liked the idea and wanted us to have a family blog as well. All his family in the Phillippines could see pictures and get updates on us everyday. Love it, So back to the subject...
For right now, I'm a stay at home mom. I always say I have three children, two of my own and a step-son in the Phillippines. Even though I don't know him well, he is still a part of me and I love him because I love my husband. I have a wide variety of things I love to do as far as hobbies. I love to cook, clean, scrapbook, decorate cakes,do gardening, draw, write. The list goes on. I obviously cannot do all these things in a day, but you get the idea. Sometimes I fix things around the house if I'm bored( Joey likes it unless he has to undo what I've done, but gives me an "A" for effort). For right now I'm dabbling in cake decorating. I've got a few clients (aside from family & friends). I have to find a licensed kitchen and obtain a catering license , then I can start to advertise. It's a work in progress. I will post some pictures so you can see some of my work. I still have a lot to learn. Well I think that's about it as far as getting to know me. Hope you enjoy my blog and feel free to comment so we can keep in touch.

How our family began....
Joey & I met in 1994 in Visalia, California (at a Denny's of course). Little did we know then, the path our lives together would take us. Joey was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. When he was 2 years old he and his siblings went to live in the Phillippines with their Grandparents. He lived there until he was 16. He then came back to the USA to live with his mother in Merced, Ca. He finished High School and attended Merced College. I was born in San Jose, California. I lived in various cities in California growing up. We lived on opposite sides of the earth at one time, and somehow came to find each other. After we were together for 3 years we decided to get married. The big day was June 14th, 1997. We had an outdoor wedding near a beautiful waterfall in Silver Falls, Oregon. The scenery was breathtaking.
