Happy Birthday Vanessa

Happy Birthday to vanessa. She turned 5 years old yesterday. It was a great party. The kids had a blast on the bounce house water slide. We couldn't pull them off , not even with a crow bar. At the end, they had the slide until 9pm, me and Tamara(Vanessa's mommy) got in and all the kids went crazy. She double dog dared me, and I had to do it. Vanessa got a brand new Hannah Montana bicycle, and a ton of clothes. Mommy made her cake, it was sooooo good. We had a blast! Joey, Kaytlyn, and Sabrina all thank you for the invite.

Vacation Bible School Rocks

The kids had a blast this week at Vacation Bible School. The theme was Sun Rock Kids Camp. They did lots of crafts, learned new verses, and ate alot. We went early and everyone ate dinner together. It was very nice. Joey and Kaitlyn both won ice cream prizes for being student of the night. We helped to raise money for Open Gate. In total for five days the total was $688.00, and a large amount of canned food. We will definitely be back next year.

The Easter Bunny Hops Again!

It has been so hot lately, we have stayed indoors most of the time. I had some extra egg coloring kits in my craft room, and thought, what the heck. It's always fun to color eggs, and we need another indoor activity, so lets have an egg hunt! It was fun, and it's also a good lunch. Since the Easter Bunny has come, my son say's so should Santa. I'm not quite sure I have the energy for Christmas decorations. I may have created a monster.

We are bieng attacked!!!

I have been finding these worms on my once thriving tomato plants. I went online and found out all about them. They are green hornworms. They are killing my beautiful tomatoes. I'm enroute to get the spray I need to get rid of them. I wondered why I had only 3 tomatoes for the last few weeks. The weird thing is, how the heck do these critters get into a topsy turvy? I have one plant in the ground, and one hanging, and I've found them more on the topsy turvy than on the other. I'm still investigating this one.

Friends, Family & Fun

My best friend is here!
Aretha & her family have been down since friday. Her & her sisters have been working on a surprise party for their dads 60th. It turned out so nice. The decorations were beautiful, It looked like someone was getting married. The tables were beautifully decorated with linens, champagne glasses, and flowers. it looked perfect. The food was great too. He was very surprised, speechless as a matter of fact. It all went very well. She stayed with me for a few days and we just hung out. The kids played, we watched movies & just relaxed. She was exausted from the stress of the party. From my house they were going to Pismo beach for a day or so then back to visit grandma & Grandpa, then home. It was a good visit. Happy 4th of July everyone


We had lot's of fun on America's birthday......
Good food, lot's of firework's, and a yummy cake to top off the evening. Juan's dad always does the BBQ, and he makes alot, so there is plenty for seconds and even some to take home for later. We had a large amount of firework's. I remember Joey saying, "we'll be here all night". Lots of family fun.

Picnic's, duck's, and water fun.....

On Monday we went on a picnic to Plaza Park. Joey loves to feed the ducks, and the fish in the "big lake" he calls it. Well the ducks were'nt too hungry, but the fish were. You could actually see the fish swallow up the pieces of bread. Joey called them "shark fishes". After eating he met some new friend's and played in the water, then off to the playground with daddy. It was a good day!
