The baby pictures came today, and oh my goodness are they beautiful!!! I can't stop looking at them. I love you Cassie!

Baby Shower cake

Busy,busy,busy today. Making a cake for a baby shower. I love doing baby cakes, and adding all the cute pins and rattles and baby bottles...take a look! I was in a bit of a hurry at the end and didn't get any close up pictures of all the extras I added to the cake, next time.

Happy Birthday Sabrina!

It's Sabrina's 13th birthday today. She wanted a zebra cake, and so I experimented with making a slanted cake like how they do the topsy turvy cakes. It's pretty easy now that I have practiced. Well I love you sweetie, and have a great day! You are a big ol' teenager now:)

Baby Cassie is home!

Cassie came home today, and we are all so thankful. She is so beautiful, and perfect in every way. I just love the smell of babies. She took her hospital pictures, but here are a few for now. As soon as the other pictures come I will post them. The girls are so excited, and very attentive to there new sister. She is as small as a baby doll, and fits just right in her new preemie outfits, but not for long. I told Carrie that her head is the size of an orange, it seems. She is 6lbs 4oz, as of today. She is eating very good, and is just so precious, we all can't stop kissing her.

Baby Cassie

Carrie had the baby on Feb. 24th at 5:15 pm. 1 month early, but we were able to get her to 36 weeks, and that is what the doctor was asking for. It seemed like the longest month ever. She was put on bed rest Jan. 28th. Cassie weighed 5lbs 15ozs, and was 18 inches long. Not bad for a preemie. She needs to stay in the hospital for a bit, but is otherwise doing good. She was in the NICU for almost a week, but has since graduated to a different part of the nursery, and was taken off of the oxygen, and is eating on her own. A little bit more and she can come home, hopefully by next week. We can't wait to see you baby girl, we love you!!!!!
