Last day of school..sniff, sniff hooray!
Today we all had such a blast! We had fun stations, banana splits(with all the trimmings), face painting, and good food for the wonderful teachers donated of course by my hubby from Olive Garden(teachers favorite). We made goodie baskets for the teachers filled with chocolate covered pretzels, and cranberry bliss bars ( starbucks copy cat recipe). I don't think my son really understands that he will have no school for a while...and then he will be in 1st grade when he comes back. Soon enough he will understand. He has made a very special friend this year and her name is Angelina. She is such a cutie pie, and she is his best best friend. He said he will miss her very much. Awwwww. By the way, her mommy is the Kindergarten teacher for the class next door, and we have both agreed to an arranged marriage...just kidding!

New Grand baby for Aretha!
Off to the Firestation
We are busy little bees on the month of school. Now we are off to the fire station... They all had so much fun. They got to shoot water out of the big fire hose, sit in an ambulance, get tied up and learn all about safety and what firemen really do. One thing they wanted so badly to do was go down the fire pole...Sorry kiddos...maybe next time. We stopped off on the walk back to school and had a frosty cone...yummy!

Pajama day!
These kiddos are just too funny. They love the camera. Joey has made alot of friends in school...All the girls think he is so nice and sweet. He opens doors for them and lets them take a drink from the fountain first. Such a gentleman. On pajama day they got to bring their favorite stuffed animal as well as wearing their pj's. It was movie day too. Posing for pictures is not hard to get them to do...as you can tell.

Kudos to the Teachers
May 27 is the last day of school for the kiddos...Lots to do this month in the classroom ( I am room mommy ). I have had a whole year now with Joeys teachers, and I have to say that they are the best ever! My son has done so well, he is in the top of the class among others. He did have 2 years of pre-school, but the way these teachers make learning so much fun and really keep on top of things makes a difference as well. I love helping out in the classroom, and I know it is a big help to them as well. We are a team, and I am forever grateful for their hard work.
