Old dresser...New look

My mom has had this dresser since I was a child...It has been around. I had it for a while, then my sister, now me again. My daughter has a new online business, and needs storage...So, here we go again. Carrie wasn't really using it anymore, so I brought over the traveling dresser, did a few minor repairs and painted it black to match the rest of Sarahs' furniture in her room...viola! New dresser/storage for Sarah and all of her supplies. She was so surprised when she got home. I honestly think that old dresser has about 20 different coats of paint underneath.

First day as a First grader!

I am happy to report that school has FINALLY began!!! Joey is a first grader this year, and is so very excited. New friends, new teacher and new playground to play in. He loves school for now...thank goodness, and has no problem getting up in the morning. In kindergarten he was in the afternoon class, so he didn't have to get up so early...but he has adjusted well. He also loves to eat lunch at school. Homework is homework to him...not very exciting, the best thing are his friends and he sits right next to his best friend...Angelina. They have been best friends since last year. Her mommy is a kindergarten teacher at his school, we joke around about arranging their marriage...it's a cute joke between us...although I was surprised that they were in the same class, and also at the same desk...side by side...Hmmmmm

Finger and toes

I had Kaytlyn over today, and she was being pampered you might say. Manicure and a pedicure! I have lots of stuff for nails, and I am not too bad at putting on acrylic nails...So she finally got her nails done by Auntie Kim...She is such a princess!

Mail call

As I may have posted before...my daughter has an online business. Well, she needs packaging materials right...This is what arrived today that she got totally for free from the postal service. Notice to the right of the picture...you can see the doorknob to my coat closet...This stack of boxes is about as tall as me!
