Now decorating him. We used almost 3 cans of frosting, and tons of candy. Each group did a body part, and boy did they love this part. The only thing that came to my mind was how sick these kiddos were going to be after eating him...yikes!
To start off this busy school week we had to make and bake our gingerbread man. All the kids had a chance to stir the dough and just loved watching him bieng rolled into shape. It took 4 boxes of cookie mix. One for his head, one for his body, one for his 2 arms and one for his 2 legs...whew!
Just to let you all know, I will be posting some pictures very soon. We have been very busy, let me rephrase that, I have been very busy these last few weeks. For work we are currently working on our Fruit Chemical Use survey...It can be a booger. Then we received the December Ag survey, which is very easy, but we only have 10 days for that one so it has taken priority for the moment. Being on the phone for the most part, and traveling to meet with farmers has taken up most of my time lately. Coming home, cooking, cleaning, running errands...well you know, the usual mommy stuff, has left nearly no time for me to post on my blog. My free time is spent editing my work to be sent in to Sacramento. We still have to hang Christmas lights and decorate our tree...yikes. In the middle of all this my husband had surgery to remove the metal in his wrist from an accident 3 years ago. He is doing fine and the surgery went great. Whew! Lots going on to say the least. Next week is the last week of school, and the kids will be chasing the Gingerbread man through the school. I'll explain later. So there is a busy week ahead, hope I can keep up!
I just love this picture of my baby niece Cassie...awwwwww. She looks so much like my sister, and has quite the little attitude at times. She is talking "baby language" and darn it she means business when she is telling you what for!!!!!
